These "Friends" have been with us since the start. All of Leroy's Friends have their AKC Canine Good Citizen certificates which means they have proven manners and are used in the community on a weekly basis with consumers. They hold a special place in Leroy's heart and deserve a little recognition. But Leroy is always looking for new "Friends"!

Benny is our newest friend. He was adopted from the Allen County Dog Warden in November of 2012 during a Friends of Leroy Brown open house. He is the lover of the group. Benny is happiest laying in someone lap being petted. He is a 4 year old Beagle who lives with Friends Benny and Pappi on a horse farm.

Baily is our ball player! He loves to play fetch. He is a 5 year old sheltie mix and lives on a horse farm with 4 other dogs 4 horses and lots of cats.

Blake the "Party Animal"! He sure loves to do his own thing. Blake is a 4 year old Dalmatian. He is a fun loving pup who brings a lot of fun to Friends of Leroy Brown.

Papi is the smallest of the friends but has the biggest attitude. He is "the boss"

Athena is the biggest dog within the Friends, but she is the most gentle one. Our consumers have named her the "Gentle Giant." Athena loves to be brushed and loved on but mostly she enjoys rough housing with her brother Leroy.

Corky is a 9 year old Beagle, Blue Heeler mix. She is an excellent ambassador for the program. She is our easy going pup known as the "cuddler"

Max is one of our older dogs, he enjoys traveling with his owner and just being in the laps of anyone who will let him

Leroy Brown, the name sake of FOLB! Back in the day Leroy was an agility champion and now he is the couch champion! Leroy loves to play with his big sister Athena and the rest of his family. Leroy is not in the normal rotation of dogs but will make special appearances throughout the year to nursing homes, picture days and open houses!

Miss Tipsy is known as "The Teacher". She knows her stuff! She was the first Friend to come on a regular basis paving the way for the program. Tipsy is a 7 year old Pit Bull that has been retired due to hip problems.
